Reiki translates to Universal Life Energy. Rei - Universal Life; Ki - Energy. It is balancing out the natural energy that is in and around everyone. Reiki can be done with or without touch. A Reiki practitioner works as a conduit for this energy to help alleviate symptoms or to help calm the body and mind. Having Reiki done helps to keep the seven main chakras in the body spinning, and helps to remove blockages from the chakras so the body and mind can feel more balanced.
My name is Rachel and I am a Reiki Master practitioner. I have always been fascinated by the thought of energy that surrounds us which we share, and the natural energy within ourselves. I continue to learn about the chakras and become more familiar with how they work, and what each of the 7 main chakras mean. In March of 2018 I received my level 1 Reiki certification from Pat Iyer. I quickly dove into my practice, practicing on whoever volunteered, and by attending Reiki shares. I have kept myself informed with books and articles all about Reiki. I received my level 2 certification in February 2019. Taking my time I was ready to begin my journey in February of 2020 to Reiki Master. As we all know the Universe had other plans for everyone. Throughout the pandemic I continued to practice on myself and send when someone was in need of healing. After I had my son at the end of 2021 I decided I was ready to continue my journey. In May of 2024 I became a Reiki Master. I use Reiki in every day situations as well as to help aid in healing for others.
